Longmont Theatre Company not only encourages participation from young crew members, it depends on them in very hands-on ways. Above, teen brothers Tomas and Antonio Cabrera capably run the light and sound effects without an adult in sight. Their 11-year-old brother, Peter, is the story’s narrator and plays the central character. The brothers have the full support of their parents, said Tomas, but, interestingly, those parents are not active theater participants themselves.
